Welcome to our July newsletter. Its been a cold winter in southeast Australia. Hopefully you have been enjoying some good wines and enjoying some seasonal foods!!

We have had a busy month. Many of you are reading this for the first time having tasted some of our wines at the Brisbane French Festival and the inaugural Melbourne Bastille Day Festival. Thanks for attending our stand and welcome to our newsletter! Congratulations to John Rayner and Karen Grooby who each won a bottle of
Rollan de By 2006. Well done and we are sure that you will enjoy this lovely aged Bordeaux!

Thanks also to all of you who bought Tour Packs ahead of the Tour de France. We hope you enjoyed the tour and these 6 wines. The TV coverage as always was fantastic!  Although the Tour is over (sadly) for another year, we still have some
Tour Packs available. They are a great introduction to our range.

We were lucky enough to enjoy a buying trip to France at the end of June. We went to
Vinexpo in Bordeaux which was an amazing trade event with 50,000 attendees (read more here). We caught up with most of our suppliers and discovered some great new wines. More on these new wines in forthcoming newsletters. We need to make some room for these new wines - please see our monthly deal below. You can also pre-order the best wine in the world under 15 pounds!

By the way you can read about us in Country Style magazine's August edition (in newsagents now) and Helen was interviewed in the Sydney telegraph for Bastille Day (copy below)!

Chateau Jolys Jurançon Sec 2011

This is one of our best selling whites with lots of loyal customers.

Awarded 92 points by Huon Hooke. A great alternative to sauvignon blanc. Tropical fruits and citrus on the pallet. Crisp dry finish. Our best selling white. Like a good Loire Chenin Blanc this wine just gets better with a few years of age.
We need to make way for a new vintage. We want to thank our loyal customers with this great special.

Usually $27.75, we have reduced to $15 per bottle, minimum 12 bottles, whilst stocks last.

Type in code JOLYS11 at  check-out on line or call 0414 596 395.

Chateau Bouissel, Le Bouissel 2011

An International Trophy in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2015. So we can probably claim that this is the best value red wine in the world! It immediately sold out at the winery. We managed to secure 300 bottles only. Now available for pre-order

"Fresh and warm, with well-judged oak bringing a little spiciness to the table, complementing earthy, smoky aromas of black cherry, herbs and liquorice. Vivid, ample, stylish and articulate, this displays lovely balance, reams of deep, juicy fruit, and a characterful, dusty finish. A simply stunning illustration of Fronton."

Organic producer. A classic from the south-west of France. Powerful fruit wrapped in soft tannins. Pre-order now. Expected delivery October 2015.

Check out also the
2010 vintage which is delicious and drinking at its peak. We have tasted both vintages and the 2010 is excellent. Again limited stocks remain.
