Canon-Fronsac

Similar to Pomerol and Saint Émilion, a few miles to the east across the Dordogne River, Canon-Fronsac has a picturesque landscape made up of woodland and hills. It also has a rich history reaching back hundreds of years, when the area was much favored by French nobility.

This appelation produces some great value wines, much more keenly priced than its more illustrious neighbours across the river.
