DiscoverVin Newsletter - September 2012
Finally Spring is starting to show its face. It's been a long bleak winter and we've been in our caves for far too long. Yes, we've enjoyed many a lovely glass of red from Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cahors, but its time to stir from our slumber, time to chill a nice bottle or rosé* and kick back in our deck chairs whilst the sun warms our bones and readies us for the coming months. To lure you out of hibernation, we have some great events that we hope will be of interest to you, so read on .....

DiscoverVin Wine Reviews:
We have recently received two reviews for one of our best value red wines from Château Moulin Pey-Labrie, from Canon-Fronsac in Bordeaux. Canon-Fronsac is one of the appellations recently featured in an article by Oz Clarke in the Decanter Magazine on "New Bordeaux". He describes such appellations as follows -
"The unknown, unsung appellations of Bordeaux have superb terroir and world class potential - and we're only just realising it."
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie - by Kerry Skinner, Quench - Illawarra Mercury, July 2012 -
Château Moulin Pey-Labrie - by John Lewis, Weekend Magazine - Newcastle Herald, August 2012 -
New vintages:
We now have available the La Reyre Rosé 2010 vintage. Those of you who loved the 2009 will not be disappointed with this new vintage - fresh and crisp, to enjoy over the summer months.
The magnificent Château Jolys Cuvée Jean 2008 is still available in the 375ml bottles, however the 750ml bottles are now the 2009 vintage, and the wine is just as delicious as it always was!
